Soil Health Card Scheme

As we all know a large part of our economy depends on Agriculture so, our government launches many beneficial schemes for farmers. Soil Health Card Scheme launched on 19th February 2021 at Suratgarh in Rajasthan by PM Modi to improve the health of the soil, because healthy soil can produce more. The main aim to start this scheme to maintain the nutrient balance in soil without using fertilizers.

Through this scheme, the government issue soil health cards to the farmers for 2 years. These health cards contain the current status of the farmers’ land. Responsibility to operate this scheme is given to the students (Colleges/universities), organizations like ICAR, PRI, SAU, KVK, etc., and STLs (Soil Testing Labs) & Mini STLs. Farmers who are eligible and want to register for this scheme can go through a stepwise process that we have given below in this article.

Farmers who want to get the benefit from this scheme must follow this eligibility 

  • Applicant must be an Indian Citizens if he/she want to get benefit from the scheme
  • Applicant must be a farmer by profession

Soil Health Card Registration 

Farmers who want to apply for Soil Health Card can follow this process that we are sharing here below

  • First of all, farmers have to open the official website i.e www.soilhealth.dac.gov.in
  • From the home page of the official website click on the “Login” option
  • Now a new page will open
  • From here select the state from the drop-down menu
  • Now click on the continue button 
  • After this click on the “Register New User” option 
  • Now a form of internal user registration will open 
  • Fill all the details correctly and submit 

Track the Soil Samples

  • First of all, farmers have to open the official website i.e www.soilhealth.dac.gov.in
  • From the home page of the official website click on the “Track Samples” option
  • Now a new page will open on your screen 
  • Here farmers have to select State/District/Mandal/Village and Sample number 
  • Finally, click on the search option

Print Your Soil Health Card 

  • First of all, farmers have to open the official website i.e www.soilhealth.dac.gov.in
  • From the home page of the official website click on the “Print Your Soil Health Card” option
  • Now a new page will open 
  • From here select your state
  • Now select State/District/Mandal/Village/Fathers name and Sample number
  • Finally, click on the search option
