Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana 2023: Rajasthan CM Mr. Ashok Gehlot started this scheme for girls and women who cannot go to college or university regularly due to various reasons. 36 thousand 300 girls and women will get benefit from this scheme every year and the state government will provide Rs 14.83 crore for Rajasthan Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana. Latest Update: Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana last date of application was 31st december 2022 now authority has extended it till 31st March 2023. Candidates who were unable to complete their registration now can apply untill the last date.
Rajasthan Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana 2023
During the budget session 2022-23, CM announced the Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana for providing higher education to girls and women of Rajasthan state. Only female candidates can apply under this scheme. Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana Eligibility
- Only those girls and women can who are permanent residents of Rajasthan state.
- The minimum qualification to apply for this scheme is Class 12th pass.
- Women and Girls who can not continue their college or university due to various reasons can apply under the scheme
- Candidates who are interested to do Graduation, Post Graduation, Diploma Courses, PG Diploma Courses and Certificate Courses can be applied under Girl Distance Education Scheme Rajasthan
Benefits of Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana
- Through this scheme, those girls and women of the state who cannot go to college and university regularly due to various reasons will be linked to higher education.
- The main benefit of the Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana is that the government will also compensate the fees paid to the institutions for girls and women to get higher education.
- Under this scheme Every year 36 thousand 300 women and girls will be provided education through distance mode under this scheme by the state government. For which the government has approved a proposal of Rs 14.83 crore.
- Higher education will be provided to girls and women through government-aided universities, state government institution/Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota.
- 16000 seats in graduate level courses, 5300 in postgraduate courses, 10000 in diploma courses, 3000 in PG diploma courses, and 2000 in certificate courses will get the benefit.
- This scheme will give a new twist to the direction of higher education promotion in the state. Due to this higher education will be promoted in society.
