Agneepath Scheme Details: Citizens who have a dream to join the Indian Army, Indian Airforce, and Indian Navy can go through Agneepath Yojana. This scheme is mainly started to a crucial role in realising the dream of building an AatmaNirbhar, Sashakt Bharat. And Agnipath scheme will take them a step closer. It is a unique opportunity to fulfill their dream of joining the Armed Forces & serving the Nation.
The scheme will not only empower, discipline & skill youth with military ethos in civil society but also improve battle preparedness suited to the changing dynamics. The Agnipath Scheme will be the only route for recruitment into the military. Personnel recruited under this system are to be called Agniveers.
The soldiers who will be selected under this scheme will also get a post-release ‘Seva Nidhi Package of Rs 11.71 lakhs including interest tax-free, besides a non-contributory insurance cover of Rs 48 Lakhs.
This scheme will also prove to be effective in increasing employment opportunities. Apart from this, the security of the country will also be strengthened by the operation of this scheme. Agniveers will also be given a certificate after completing a tenure of 4 years.

Agneepath Protest Reason
As we are seeing in the news Agneepath scheme following massive protests all across the country. The main reason for the protest is after completion of the four-year service tenure, there will be 10 percent of reservations for the ‘Agniveers’ in central government jobs. Around 12 states of the country are facing protests. Bihar is one of them where many trains and public properties has destroyed by the protesters. Many trains have been canceled in different sections of the railways. They all are demanding to take back this scheme.
This new model for enrolment of soldiers is not accepted by the youth of many states. To see this thing Modi government increased the age limit for soldiers from 21 years to 23 years under the Agnipath.
